Location
Jeziora Wielkie parish is placed on the area of Pojezierze Gnieźnieńskie, on the area where Polish nation was shaping. It is a bridge between Wielkopolska and Kujawy. As far as administrative division is concerned our parish closes the southern part of Bydgoszcz province. Jeziora Wielkie adjoins five other parishes: Strzelno, Kruszwica, Skulsk, Wilczyn and Orchowo. Jeziora Wielkie has got the area of 12.396 ha including 863 ha under water. There are over 5 thousand people living here. Our parish’s teritory is very irregular. Its surface has been shaped by the late stages of glaciation continental glaciers’ activity.
.	A very characteristic feature of our parish’s terrain are uplands and numerous lake gullies shaped about 15 thousand years ago. They are concentrated in the eastern and western part of the area. They create lakes: Gopło, Lubstówek, Skulskie, Wójcińskie and Ostrowskie. The biggest part of the parish covered with forests is placed in its central and western regions.
Jeziora Wielkie area is divided into 21 village districts which contain the following villages: Berlinek, Budy, Dobsko, Gaj, Golejewo, Jeziora Wielkie, Kożuszkowo, Kuśnierz, Krzywe Kolano, Kościeszki, Lenartowo, Lubstówek, Nozyczyn, Nowa Wieś, Pomiany, Proszyska, Przyjezierze, Rzeszyn, Rzeszynek, Radunek, Sierakowo, Sierakówek, Siedlimowo, Siemionki, Wola Kozuszkowa, Wycinki, Wysoki Most, Wójcin, Włostowo and Żółwiny.
Good geographical, soil and climate conditions make the touristic movement and farming increase rapidly. A well designed system of solid roads has got a great meaning for parish’s development. It creates a possibility of fast connections with the whole country. This situation causes that more and more tourists visit our land. It is them who we built touristic and holiday centre for and we prepare a new complex of recreational and housing building on Lake Wójcińskie just for them too. The conditions have been established to change villages Gaj and Nowa Wieś into summer resorts.
OUR PARISH IS SEARCHING FOR: Investors interested in production of food preservatives. A well developed infra-stucture and farming characteristic of this region encourages to develop this branch of economy. We are also seeking offers from companies and investors who would like to use our parish’s touristic values. OUR PARISH IS OFFERING: Developed building lots for summer complexes and boarding houses on the Lake Wójcińskie, single-family buildings building lots in Jeziora Wielkie and Wójcin Gaj and lots for public services buildings placed along the road Bydgoszcz-Konin in Jeziora Wielkie.
